ADVANCED ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS LABORATORY
Advanced Electronics and Communication Laboratory at Istanbul Okan University consists of three
research and education laboratories.

Digital Design Laboratory
Training and research on micro controllers and FPGA are carried out in the Digital Design Laboratory.
In the laboratory, there are various microcontrollers and FPGA cards and modules belonging to these
cards, complex signal oscilloscope to measure and analyze complex digital circuits.

VLSI Laboratory
Analog and digital integrated circuits are designed in the VLSI Laboratory. Since İstanbul Okan
University is a member of Europractice, it has access to advanced technologies in the field of

integrated circuit. The Cadence design environment used by integrated circuit design companies is
used. There is also a dual output signal generator to generate analog signals in the VLSI Lab.

• Wireless Communication Laboratory

In the Communication Laboratory, research and training are carried out in the field of
communication, from basic communication experiments to new generation software-based radios.
